The deposit is $300 and is deducted from the price of the puppy. Your deposit reserves your spot for puppy selection. The deposit is Non-Refundable! Be sure you are ready to commit to a puppy. Your deposit can be moved to future litter for up to one year from the date of the deposit.
If you decide to select one of our adorable puppies you can contact me via phone or email. If we mutually agree that a puppy is the right fit for you, I’ll promptly email you a litter-specific contract along with deposit details. Keep in mind, your spot is only secured once I receive both the deposit and the completed contract.
I only allow visitors that have placed a deposit and submitted a completed contract. The visit occurs at puppy selection. I understand you want first-hand knowledge about parents and puppies before purchasing a puppy. That is why I include testimonials on the website and Instagram testimonials. I encourage everyone to contact any of these customers directly. Most have visited and met me.
The puppies are selected in order of deposit. Selection is made in person, if possible, the Saturday before the fifth week birthday. This allows the puppies to develop personalities and physical traits become more apparent. If you can’t visit in person pictures and videos are provided.
Yes!!! This is such an exciting time and my customers love this process! We offer a very personalized experience from birth until pickup. You will receive pictures within 24 hours of the arrival and every week on the puppies weekly birthday. I receive so many comments from previous customers about how much they enjoy this exciting experience!
Your puppy must be picked up by 8 weeks of age. If you need to leave your puppy for an extended period of time the cost is $45 per day.
I work with QT Pet Transport, a service that hand-delivers your puppy to most major airports. The cost for this delivery is around $700, though it may vary depending on the state and airport. Since the puppy nanny sets the final price, it is subject to change. You will be responsible for booking the service.
Your puppy will go home with a blanket that has moms’ scent on it to help provide comfort, toy, trial bag of puppy food, Birth Certificate, executed contract and puppy tips. Before you pick your puppy up you will receive training material and a supply list.
The mini doodles will have a higher energy level than the larger doodles. The mini doodles will require more work initially but will calm as they mature. Medium/Standard doodles take longer to mature and are more expensive to maintain-grooming and food. Overall Goldendoodles are very social dogs and love people and other animals.
F1 is a first generation cross. The puppy is 50% English Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle. These are considered to be light shedders but are allergy friendly for most people. This cross is considered to be the healthiest.
F1B is a backcross of an English Goldendoodle and a Poodle. The puppies are most likely to be non-shedding and allergy friendly. This cross produces a mix of coat types-shaggy/wavy coats and curly coats. You can identify the coat type by puppy selection.
The most obvious difference between the two retrievers is the color of their coats. The English cream golden retriever is what makes our teddy bear goldendoodles so irresistible.
American Golden Retriever: The AKC describes an American Golden Retriever’s color to be “rich, lustrous golden of various shades”. Breeding standards do not accept colors that are extremely dark or extremely light. This would mean that judging of the acceptability of color is, to an extent, left to the judge’s discretion.
English Cream Golden Retriever: The AKC describes the English Cream Retriever to be of the shades of cream and to some extent gold. We do not accept mahogany or red colors.
There are certain health differences between the American Goldens and the English Cream. American Goldens have a significantly higher chance of getting cancer as compared to English Creams. This is based on research and statistics done. The median age of American Goldens is 10 years and 8 months, while the median age for English Creams is 12 years and 3 months.
Compared to American Goldens, English Creams have larger bones, bulkier builds, and blockier heads.
These are just a few examples of the differences in the American and English golden retriever.
There is not a major difference in male and female doodles. Males tend to be larger. Much like humans, females tend to enjoy receiving affection, while males often prefer to show it. Both are family friendly and make amazing pets.
Doodles have hair, not fur, so shedding is minimal or non-existent. To maintain their coat, you should brush them regularly and schedule grooming every 2-3 months. This depends on your activities and preference.
Doodles are allergy friendly. There is really no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog.
Doodles usually live an average of 10-15 years.
Yes, you must have your puppy spayed or neutered by the time they reach 12 months of age. I require proof of spay/neuter by the time the dog is 14 months of age. Puppies are adopted as pets only.
