At Elite Goldendoodles and Bernedodles, our story began with a simple love for the doodle breed. My mom and I fell in love with their joyful personalities, intelligence, and incredible ability to brighten someone’s day She has always said, “Every time I see a doodle, it makes me smile.” That simple statement became the inspiration for everything we do. What started as a shared passion has grown into an amazing journey of raising exceptional Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles for families across the country.
We believe breeding is much more than producing beautiful puppies-it’s a lifelong commitment improving the breed. We have four boys that are all grown up. They have all graduated from college. They attended Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State and UAB. Unfortunately, none of them chose to pursue career as a veterinarian.
My husband is a professional engineer and enjoys spending his free time with our beloved dogs. We are blessed and fulfilled by their companionship!

Not all Goldendoodles are the same. The English Goldendoodle is very different from the American Goldendoodle. The term “Teddy Bear Goldendoodle” refers to a specific type of Goldendoodle, a mix between a Poodle and a Golden Retriever(F1) or a Goldendoodle and a Poodle(F1b), that has a distinctive physical appearance resembling a plush teddy bear. This look is due to the influence of the English Cream Golden Retriever in their lineage, which contributes to their stocky build, blocky head, light-colored fluffy coat and a round, expressive face.
They are known for their affectionate, friendly, loyal, and intelligent temperament, inheriting positive traits from both parent breeds. These characteristics make them popular family pets.
They typically inherit a low-shedding or non-shedding, wavy or curly coat from the poodle making them a great choice for allergy sufferers. They can range in color from cream to red depending on the genetics of the parents.
They are generally healthy dogs, benefiting from hybrid vigor (increased health and vitality due to crossbreeding the two different breeds.

The deposit is $500 and is deducted from the price of the puppy. Your deposit reserves your spot for puppy selection. The deposit is Non-Refundable! Be sure you are ready to commit to a puppy. Your deposit can be moved to future litter one time.
If you decide to select one of our adorable puppies, you can contact me via phone or email. Once we both agree that a puppy would be a good fit for you, I will then email you a questionnaire along with deposit information. However, please note that your spot is not reserved until I receive both the deposit and the completed questionnaire.
I only allow visitors who have placed a deposit and submitted a completed puppy application. The visit takes place during the puppy selection process-around 6 weeks of age. I understand that you may want first-hand knowledge about the parents and puppies before making a purchase. For this reason, I include extensive information about the parents, puppies, as well as testimonials on the website and Instagram. I encourage everyone to reach out directly to any of my customers on Instagram, most of whom have visited and met me personally. Also, my Google page is a great reference.
We select the puppies in the order of deposit. If possible, you make your selection in person on the Saturday around their sixth-week birthday. If you need to select from a distance, I provide weekly pictures and videos for this purpose. This timing allows the puppies to develop their personalities and for physical traits to become more apparent.
Yes! This is such an exciting time, and my customers absolutely love this process! We offer a highly personalized experience from birth until pickup. You will receive pictures within 36 hours of your puppy’s arrival and, every week on the puppy’s weekly birthday. We also provide weekly videos of each litter to aid in puppy selection. You can view these weekly videos on YouTube @ elitegoldendoodlesAL. Many previous customers have shared how much they enjoy and appreciate this exciting experience!
Your puppy must be picked up by 8 weeks of age. However, if you need to leave your puppy for an extended period, you can enroll them in a 2-week basic training program, provided there is space available. Since space is limited, it’s recommended to reserve early. I use Highland Canine and the pricing information is below. I will be responsible for getting the puppy to the trainer at Highland Canine.

General socialization to people and places
I recommend QT Pet Transport or Fuzzy Fur Baby Flight Nanny Service, as they hand-deliver your puppy to most major airports. The cost for this service is approximately $600-$900, depending on the location. Please note that I do not set the price for the puppy nanny, so the cost may change without notice.
Your puppy will go home with a blanket with familiar scents to provide comfort, along with a toy, a trial bag of puppy food, a puppy binder, and helpful puppy tips. Your puppy binder will include a birth certificate, executed contract, vaccinations and deworming record, and 30 days of free insurance and a discount on Baxter and Bella online training. In addition, before you pick your puppy up, you will receive training materials and a supply list to ensure you are fully prepared.
