At Elite Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles, our breeding dogs are beloved members of our family. To ensure they each receive the very best care and attention, we limit the number of dogs we personally keep at our home. That’s why we offer a unique Guardian Program – where qualified families receive a FREE puppy or dog, while we retain the breeding rights.
As a part of our Guardian Program (i.e. Guardian Home), you’ll raise and love one of our exceptional dogs as your own, and we’ll handle all breeding-related responsibilities. It’s a win-win: you gain a wonderful companion, and we can continue our mission to responsibly raise happy, healthy puppies.

Guardian families receive a high-quality, health-tested dog at no cost and provide a loving, stable, and safe home environment. In return, we retain exclusive breeding rights and care for all litters produced.

Location: Must live within 1.5 hour drive of Birmingham, Alabama. We will also consider families in the surrounding area provided transportation can be arranged for key appointments.
Other Important Details
Breeding begins after successful health testing, typically around the second heat cycle.
You will notify us of each heat cycle’s start. [Don’t worry, we will teach you all you need to know about this].
She’ll stay with us during breeding (a few days) and again for whelping and weaning (about 6–8 weeks total time per year).
You’ll care for her during pregnancy.
After only 4 successful litters, she will be spayed (at our expense) and remain your pet for life.

Breeding begins after maturity and health testing are complete.
He’ll stay with us for short visits when needed for breeding—either with our females or as a stud for outside programs.
Guardians must ensure he is kept away from females in heat.
Males typically retire around 5 years of age and will be neutered (at our expense).
He remains with you for life, and puppy visits are always welcome
Our guardian families receive a top-quality, fully health-tested dog while becoming an important part of our breeding program.
