Guardian families must be able to:

• Provide safe, secure access to exercise and potty breaks (a fenced yard or regular walks/hikes).
• Avoid off-leash dog parks due to health and breeding risks.
• Feed only high-quality food and supplements (approved by us).
• Ensure regular grooming (home and professional care).
• Socialize and train the dog properly, including seeking professional help if needed.
• Maintain the dog’s coat as directed (especially during puppyhood).

Location: Must live within 1.5 hour drive of Birmingham, Alabama. We will also consider families in the surrounding area provided transportation can be arranged for key appointments.

Other Important Details

• Maintain and grow out the coat until at least 6–12 months (face/sanitary trimming encouraged).
• Allow us to periodically pick up your dog for professional photos.
• Follow our diet and supplement guidelines.
• Guardians are responsible for general vet care.
• Dog’s name cannot be changed unless pre-approved.
